Windows on Mac with Parallels 13 Subscribe| Read full article Get Parallels: How to. I have used 3DsMax, Revit 2010, Rhino, Autocad 2010 & Autocad LT 2009 using Parallels and it has been smooth sailing. You simply must start a new session whenever you open the program (specifically 3dsmax, which might require you to switch from Coherence to Window mode to get the grid showing).

Hey /r/rhino
I need to buy rhino as part of my degree but I own a Mac. The Mac version is cheaper for students (whoooo) but I saw it also lacks certain features (e.g. plug in support and grasshopper capability).
Since I'll be using this program over the next 3 years (and hopefully beyond) I'm wondering whether it's worth buying Windows to dual boot my Mac and then buy the Windows version of Rhino? Not sure if the Mac version will shape up in that time to include that functionality.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers
edit - we use Windows at uni during our labs so if I bought the Mac version I'd also have to keep switching between the two layouts when I use my own computer.
